Es liegt auf der Hand, dass dieser Vorgang in Multiuser Umgebungen sehr mühselig und aufwendig ist. Zudem kann man auch nicht jedem Client zumuten nach seinem ersten Login zuerst über die MMC einen Snap-in hinzuzufügen und anschließend ein Zertifikat zu beantragen (und das dann nach Ablauf auch noch neu zu beantragen, etc.). Für diesen Zweck gibt es die Automatische Registrierung (Auto-Enrollment). Klingt kompliziert, ist aber eigentlich nur eine Gruppenrichtlinie, mit der ein Client seine Zertifikate automatisch beziehen kann.

  1. Auf dem Domain Controller öffnest du die Gruppenrichtlinienverwaltung, blätterst unsere Domäne auf, klickst rechts auf Gruppenrichtlinienobjekte -> Neu und nennst die neue Richtlinie AutoEnrollment.
  2. Anschließend klickst du rechts auf die neue Richtlinie -> Bearbeiten
  3. und im Editor öffnest du unter Benutzerkonfiguration -> Richtlinien -> Windows-Einstellungen -> Sicherheitseinstellungen -> Richtlinien für öffentliche Schlüssel -> Zertifikatdienstclient - Automatische Registrierung.
  4. Hier stellst du das Konfigurationsmodell auf aktiviert und setzt einen Haken bei den entsprechenden Aufgaben, also z.B. bei "Abgelaufene Zertifikate erneuern" und "Zertifikate, die Zertifikatsvorlagen verwenden, aktualisieren".
  5. Schließe den Editor und verlinke die neue Richtlinie mit der Domäne oder Organisationseinheit, in der sie gelten soll und du bist fast fertig.
  6. Stelle nur noch sicher, dass die Berechtigungen der Zertifikatsvorlagen auch den entsprechenden Benutzern die Automatische Registrierung erlauben (siehe vorheriger Artikel: Server Manager -> Rollen -> Active Directory Zertifikatdienste -> Zertifikatvorlagen -> Doppelklick auf dein Template -> Sicherheit).

Jetzt kannst du die neue Richtlinie auf den Clients testen. Eventuell musst du ein gpupdate /force auf dem Client Rechner ausführen und dann schau über die mmc nach ob ein Zertifikat automatisch zugewiesen wurde.
